Counselling Services
I offer individual person-centred counselling sessions for those seeking one-to-one support. In our sessions, we’ll work at your pace. The space is yours to talk, explore and reflect on whatever feels important to you. My role is to meet you with compassion, curiosity and care; creating an environment where you can express yourself openly without fear of judgment.
Therapy usually begins with weekly sessions, giving us the consistency needed to build understanding and create meaningful change. As you start to notice shifts in your thoughts, feelings and everyday life, and those changes feel secure, we move to fortnightly sessions. We will continue working at this pace until the process starts to feel complete and you’re experiencing a stronger sense of self-trust. At that point, I usually suggest moving to monthly sessions, offering space to consolidate what you’ve gained and gently prepare for ending the work, when you feel ready.

I specialise in working with grief and loss. Bereavement counselling offers a space that is entirely yours, where you can feel whatever arises without judgement or pressure. Grief can be strange, unpredictable and often quite frightening, and trying to make sense of it alone, or with those close to you, can feel especially hard.
Being with someone who can stay alongside you as you experience it all helps grief to feel more approachable. Together, we can gently witness and hold your experiences to allow the intensity of grief to soften over time. This process helps your grief to become something you gradually integrate into your life in a way that is meaningful for you.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of therapy that creates deep, lasting healing from emotional trauma. The idea is that we all have different "parts" within us- an internal family. Each of these parts has developed its own ways of responding to and protecting us from life's experiences. Together, we explore these parts to understand why certain patterns feel so hard to shift, and where in your body or mind trauma may still be held. From there, we work to gently heal those parts, helping your inner world move toward something more balanced. One that honours what you've been through and supports you to live a life that feels steady, fulfilling, and truly yours.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical form of therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. The idea is that the way we think about our experiences has a powerful influence on how we feel and what we do. By gently shifting unhelpful patterns of thinking, we can start to feel and live differently. CBT is largely focused on the present: what's getting in the way right now and what small, meaningful changes can help you move forward. It's a collaborative process, one that gives you real tools to take with you beyond the therapy room, so that over time, you feel more equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and confidence.
